Step 1
BASELINE
Together we review the 7 B Impact areas and review how your business is performing ‘now’. I create a bespoke improvement report, and we prioritise and map out the necessary positive changes.

Step 2
IMPROVE
This is an exciting phase where the benefits of B Corp will begin to become evident. The details are individual to each business, and together we will implement the changes required to reach the B Corp standards. This can include, but is not limited to, policy creation, stakeholder mapping and engagement, human rights assessments and improvement in the way your business approaches JEDI.

Step 3
EVALUATION
Final review of all documentation and evidence, before it is uploaded to the B Impact platform and submitted for verification. We support you through the verification process, including in any interviews, until B Corp certification is achieved.

Step 4
CERTIFICATION
Your business is B Corp Certified - you must celebrate! We provide guidance for internal and external communications to ensure the most is made of your certification. At this point you will be able to join the B Hive and sign up to B Local events.

Research shows that B Corps are more financially resilient and have better growth when compared to non B Corps.
The B Corp community is a fantastic, positive group of businesses who share ideas, knowledge and expertise in a way that is rare today. Certified B Corps have access to the B Hive online community and also have access to a whole range of in person meetings through the B Local network, industry specific collaborations such as the B Beauty Coalition and Travel By B Corp or other events that occur throughout the year.

The timeline varies depending on your business size, complexity, and how much work is needed to reach the required score.
Most businesses working with us through B Corp Complete achieve certification within 12–18 months. We’ll give you a realistic picture of your likely timeline at your discovery call.

There are two elements to the cost:
the support to go through the process (which is what B Corp Complete covers)
the B Lab certification and annual fees, which are set by B Lab and based on your annual revenue. You can see your B Lab fees on their pricing page.

There are several stages to the B Corp certification process, each of which is as important as the other.
In a nutshell, a profile needs to be created on the B Impact platform. This sets the scope for your business and determines the specific impact requirements that you need to meet. Then, when all those standards are met, your application is assessed by a third party. Assuming all goes well, your business becomes a certified B Corp - whoop whoop!
