Before founding Planet & Purpose, I spent 15 years as a police officer.
That career gave me something unique: a deep, grounded understanding of society, and of what genuinely good, stable work means for individuals and communities. It also sharpened skills I use every day - rigorous data analysis, clear-headed problem solving, and the ability to present complex information to senior decision-makers in a clear, well-articulated manner.
After a decade and a half and with a young family of my own, I followed a long-held ambition to build a business that could drive real, measurable change.
Business for change
Now, with over 5 years as a B Corp and impact consultant, I work with SMEs who want to do the same: embedding purpose into the heart of how they operate, and proving that doing good and doing well are not in conflict.
What I love most is watching businesses genuinely transform by not only earning a certification, but changing the way they think, lead, and grow.
Outside of work, I am married with 3 kids and a menagerie of animals. I am second of seven siblings and grew up with a love of wild open spaces, animals, and gardening for nature.

Experience and Credibility:
I am a B Corp and impact consultant, trained by UK For Good, with over 5 years of hands-on experience guiding SMEs through the full B Corp certification process from initial assessment and gap analysis through to submission, verification, and beyond. I also am certified Carbon Literate.
I understand that B Corp isn't the right fit for every business. If that sounds like you, it does not mean there is no benefit to working on impact strategy and improvement. Through impact consulting, I help your business become genuinely better on its own terms, with measurable progress to show for it.
As a co-chair of Northants B Local, the regional network that connects certified B Corps and B Corp - curious businesses across Northamptonshire, I am jointly responsible for the growth of sustainable business in the local area and beyond.
Through my role as B Corp ambassador for Includability, a community that supports, equips and connects organisations to build better performing workplaces, I support people led businesses to improve their impact on their workforce.
